The fund has been operating for the last ~10 years and historically has been most successful in the mid-frequency equities space. The team is looking for an experienced Equity QR/QD who can work alongside other talented quants in building out next-gen research and trading infrastructure and alpha signal research for a new portfolio.
Moving into next year, the fund is looking to further capitalize on their shared success in the equity stat arb space by improving trading technology and launching new strategies across different geographies and holding periods. The ideal candidate for this seat will have:
• 2+ years experience as an Equity Quant Researcher, Developer or Hybrid (buyside strongly preferred)
• Exceptional Python coding capabilities
• Rigorous mathematical and statistical modeling skills
• Familiarity working with large, noisy datasets for signal research
• Desire to work in a collaborative team
